The best gift I've ever received was my ring from R - maybe a little high school haha. I don't really think it's the best gift in a materialistic way, but what it means to me. He gave me this ring to promise his love to me and that the future no longer belongs to just him or me individually but to US.

ReplyDeleteThe best gift I've ever received was when Wbeimar installed an automatic starter in my car. Winters in NJ are super cold and it is the best feeling getting into an already warm car. It may seem silly but every time it snows and my car is warm I think of his awesome surprise!!!! I will be putting this on my blog now. Happy Early Birthday!!!

ReplyDeleteI think the best gift I have ever received was from my boyfriend, Lewis. It's a silver mesh heart ring from Tiffany & Co. It came in the famous little blue box which I was ecstatic about! I wear the ring everyday and it's my most prized possession. <3

ReplyDeleteThe best gift I ever gave...In college, my best friend was in love with the lead singer in a local band. I was close friends with one of his friends and got him to talk the singer into calling my friend and singing "Happy Birthday" to her. It probably doesn't sound like a big deal, but she called me crying and saying it was the best present EVER!

The best gift I ever received was of course Shelby, he lights up my days and of course drives me crazy all at the same time.
ReplyDeleteThe second best gift would be my engagement ring from my Randy, he proposed on my birthday, how cool is that? It made my day and it had been a long one. I was in Nursing school at the time and it was rough. I think I smile for the next 7-8 mths. until we got married, on spring break of course because I was out of school and we went on our honeymoon that week. LOL Had to schedule it all around school.

ReplyDeleteBest present...My mother gave me a book filled with pictures of her and I the morning of my wedding. She wrote supportive and inspiring words by the photos and I cherish it! If not that then my father gave me a bag of rocks from our front yard for my 9th birthday...he has an interesting sense of humor haha.

One of the best gifts that I have given was a personalized book. It was not one of those wonderfully adorable kids books, but a fun romance novel for adults. It had at least 60 different bits of personalized content including friends, enemies, fave beverages, locations, styles, expressions, etc.
It was hilarious and so much fun to see it in print. My friend adored it and still has it - 10 years later :)

In addition to some other fun things, they gave me this blown up picture in a frame that everyone wrote special messages on. it was so sweet and made me cry.

The best gift I ever received (besides Ben and my two children) was a suitcase when I was six years old.

Even at that age I was amazed by the world and couldn't wait to see it.

The best gift I've ever been given is... My husband took me to Tokyo Disneyland (while we lived in Japan) for our anniversary one year. I had never been to a Disney park before. My life truly changed that day! :) I know it sounds silly... Each time we've been to a Disney park since then, I'm so happy that he took me the very first time...so many memories that we'd have missed out on if he hadn't!

ReplyDeleteSad to say I'm horrible at gift-giving, but the best gift I ever received was a one-of-a-kind painting that my boyfriend made just for me on our first Christmas together... three years ago now. That painting is my most prized possession. It has followed me back and forth to university, and I love it just as much now as I did the day he gave it to me.

ReplyDeletewell i kept trying to think of my fav gift, and my husband kept coming to my mind everytime!!! we have been together since we were 15 and i am so thankful for his love and friendship! he is definitely a gift! :)
i think one of the coolest gifts i have given was this past autumn, for my parents 25th anniversary i organized their vow renewal and all the details, and then made a few memory albums with pictures and facts from the past 25 years!!! i love how they turned out and i know they are really special to my parents now.

ReplyDeletethe best gift i've ever given was to all my dad's siblings and his mom. i gave them all the same gift - three framed photos of my grandpa (my dad's dad) who passed away when i was really young. there arent a lot of pictures of him so it was hard/fun to find some good pictures of him to frame.
