Beginning July 15th, for 30 days, I'll be doing the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels.

It will kick my butt. But I need my butt kicked.
After seeing pics of myself from vacation (& deleting most of them), I need to kick it up a notch and get some results. I'll still be doing the Couch to 5K training but will be adding in this dvd each day.
If you haven't heard of the 30 Day Shred before, it's a 20 minute workout that combines strength training, cardio and abs. It's HARD and it WORKS.
I want to challenge myself and accomplish this.
Anybody else in?????
Here's what you need to do if you want to join me:
1. Take a before photo.
2. Take your before measurements.
(I'm going to measure hips, thighs, arms/biceps and waist.)
3. Comment here or e-mail me to let me know you're joining in! We can give each other support and encouragement the next 30 days!
4. Purchase the dvd or borrow somebody's. I've never seen it over $12 but somebody you know probably has it, so ask around!
5. Once we're finished with our 30 days, we'll celebrate our accomplishments together!!!!

ReplyDeleteI would join in but I am so not dedicated enough lol. I need someone to like drag me off the sofa lol. I go to trampolining once a week for like between 30 and 45 minutes and I'm getting better lol.

ReplyDeleteI started about a month ago and did about two weeks but got derailed when I had a visitor for two weeks! I still exercised but not the Shred. I am starting back up asap.

ReplyDeleteIf my shoulder wasn't injured and hurting like #@$% I would join with you too. I'm waiting to see what the hand surgeon tells us about Shelby next Tues. and whethet he will have to have surgery. If he doesn't I'm going for my MRI and I may be looking at surgery.

ReplyDeleteOkay... so I am going to do this. I too was pretty depressed looking at my vacation pictures. Then had a dr's appt on Tuesday where she told me I could stand to lose a few pounds:) So this is WHAT I NEED!! I am going to get the dvd this weekend and then clean up my craft room so I have room to do it! Thanks Jamie!!

ReplyDeleteMine may not be here in time for the 15th... but I'll start as soon as it arrives. I'm having the hubby tape me today. What fun is working out if you can have your lover help? teehee. Anywho... make sure to STRETCH before AND AFTER your workout every day. I didn't before a simple jog and was out for 2 days with a pull calf.
